Released as the third single back in 1999 from Tyrese's self-titled debut album 1998's Tyrese, "Sweet Lady" would go onto become the crooner's biggest hit until 2003's "How You Gonna Act Like That." Peaking at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #9 on the R&B charts, "Sweet Lady" would go onto give Tyrese his first Grammy nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance back in 2000.
