Posted a remix of The Pointer Sister's classic "Automatic" a couple of days ago and a lot of people seemed to be enjoying it, so thought I'd bring it back to the original.
Back in 1983 The Pointer Sisters released their multiplatinum tenth studio album Break Out and one of the numerous hits lifted from the set was their top 5 Billboard Hot 100 hit "Automatic," which also peaked at #2 on the Billboard Black Singles Chart. The song has become one of the Pointers' signature joints and even won a Grammy in 1985 for Best Vocal Arrangement for Two or More Voices.
