After winning a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album earlier this year for Black Radio, the Robert Glasper Experiment are set to release the official sequel, Black Radio 2, on October 29th. With less than a month to go until it's release, a new single "I Stand Alone" has hit the net following the Jill Scott assisted "Calls."
Featuring some solid verses from Common and a dope chorus via Fall Out Boy's lead vocalist Patrick Stump, "I Stand Alone also features academic Michael Eric Dyson at the end of the track discussing the the value in originality during the age of mechanical reproduction.
With that said, take a listen after the jump to "I Stand Alone" and lookout for Black Radio 2 on October 29th as the set offers up another dope line-up this time featuring the likes of Brandy, Jill Scott, Dwele, Marsha Ambrosius, Anthony Hamilton, Faith Evans, Norah Jones, Snoop Dogg, Lupe Fiasco, Emeli Sandé and Lalah Hathaway.
