Y'all should already know that Luther Vandross has the definitive version of the Burt Bacharach classic "A House Is Not a Home," Dionne Warwick herself would exclaim this and as we begin to close out September, I thought it would be great to revisit one of Luther's numerous sublime live audio renditions of this classic.
During Luther Vandross' 1991 The Power of Love Tour, he brought out some classic songs from his discography including his rendition of "A House Is Not a Home," which was featured on his 1981 debut album Never Too Much. Though never released as a single from Never Too Much, Luther's interpretation of "A House Is Not a Home" is a staple on Quiet Storm radio.
With that said, during his tour stop in Anaheim, CA, Luther recorded what seems to be a scrapped lived album and luckily for us a fan of Vandross got her/his hands on the live audio version of "A House Is Not a Home." Therefore, take some time to listen to this live audio recording of the classic Luther cut "A House Is Not a Home" and Enjoy!
