Something in my spirit last night led me to Keke Wyatt's powerful performance of the timeless hymn "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" from her "recent" concert at the legendary The Howard Theatre in Washington DC.
While her performance is from back in July, I stumbled upon it last night and her touching tribute performance of "His Eye Is On The Sparrow," which she dedicated to Trayvon Martin continues to prove in my book that she is one of the most underrated singers in the business today.
