I purchased Ariana Grande's debut album Yours Truly and was pleasantly surprised and taken aback by a lot of the material on her debut album. For such a young vocal talent, she certainly has phenomenal vocal chops in addition to some great songwriting skills.
Case and point, her co-penned joint "Honeymoon Avenue," which kicks off Yours Truly. Co-written by Grande, Khris Riddick-Tynes, Leon Thomas, Antonio Dixon, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Thomas Brown, Travis Sayles, Dennis Aganee Jenkins, and Victoria Monet, in addition to being produced by The Rascals, Babyface and Dixon, "Honeymoon Avenue" combines Ariana's melisma fueled vocals with some touching lyrics that I am sure a lot of us have felt at one point in our lives.
With that said, take a listen to Ariana's cut "Honeymoon Avenue" from her sublime Republic debut album Yours Truly after the jump and hopefully it will receive the single's treatment as it is one of the standouts of her solid debut effort.
