With Janelle Monáe's highly anticipated sophomore album The Electric Lady slated to hit stores tomorrow, I thought it would be appropriate to take a listen to her unofficial first studio album The Audition, which was originally released back in 2003 via Wondaland Arts Society.
Released before Janelle signed to Bad Boy Records, her original debut album The Audition features thirteen songs and one instrumental song, "I Won't Let Go" and was self-distributed under the Wondaland Arts Society label, down in Atlanta at the time.
