If any good came come of Robin Thicke's appropriation of Marvin Gaye's "Got To Give It Up" via Thicke's current hit single "Blurred Lines," it is the fact that Marvin is once again brought forward into the public's consciousness and hopefully a lot of the youngins who are jamming to Thicke are getting into the brilliance of Marvin.
With that said, the follow live audio of Marvin's is clearly one of my favorite live audio recordings hands down and for those who have been following this blog awhile, should probably note this already as it seems as though I post this same live audio clip of Marvin Gaye almost every month.
With that said, take a few minutes and listen as Marvin croons out an opus of perfection on his live joint "Distant Lover." While in my book this live recording is definitely better than the recorded version, listen below to Gaye's crooning of "Distant Lover" and Enjoy!
