New Joint: "After Dark" (Mateo)

Earlier today, Mateo released a new joint "After Dark," which is lifted from his forthcoming August 13th Interscope EP "We've Met Before." Featuring '80-synths, the slow jam from the rising crooner is a refreshing joint to add to the "comeback" of mainstream R&B, though as I've always maintained, it's never really left, people just haven't been listening in the right places. Either way you fell, Mateo's "After Dark" is a solid joint from the singer/songwriter and along with the set's lead single "How Good Is You Love," his EP "We've Met Before" looks like it's shaping up as a solid (re)introduction to Mateo.
