Today is my Uncle Steve's funeral and in honor of his memory I thought that it would be nice to listen to this rare rerecording of Chaka Khan's "Love Me Still" as I will be performing my own rendition of it later today. Lifted from an album called Rare Request v2 back in 2001, Chaka rerecorded her classic slow jam "Love Me Still."
This different versions finds a much deeper tone in Khans voice and a different ending towards the song. Also the addition of strings to the instrumentation really bring another side to this track. Catch a listen to this rare recording of "Love Me Still" below and Enjoy!
