Back in 1989, the Queen of Soul and The Voice united to record a duet entitled "It Isn't, It Wasn't, It Ain't Never Gonna Be," which was lifted from Aretha's "Through The Strom."
Eventually going onto peak at #5 on the Billboard Black Singles chart, the song is a gem that has mostly been forgotten about until the recent passing of The Voice, Ms. Whitney Houston.
With that said, as we continue to honor the legacy of Whitney, I thought it would be appropriate to dust of this hit single for another listen.
