One of, if not my favorite song from Whitney Houston is "Run to You," which was lifted from the record breaking soundtrack of "The Bodyguard." Lifted as the fourth single from "The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album," the single peaked at a respectable #31 on the Billboard Hot 100 partially due to the soundtrack already selling 8 million copies in the United States before its release.
Eventually going on to earn an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song, "Run to You" is often overlooked in Houston's discography due to the massive success of prior singles "I Will Always Love You," "I'm Every Woman," and "I Have Nothing."
