Back in April, Ed Sheeran appeared on NBC's late-night variety show Saturday Night Live and during his time as musical guest, he performed his hit Pharrell-produced single "Sing" in addition to "Don," which was about a high-profile breakup.
Written about fellow UK singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding, who is rumored to have cheated on Ed during their relationship last year, "Don't" is a sobering tale about a relationship that goes from hot to cold rather quickly with lyrics such as "Now she's staying at my place and loves the way I treat her...) I never intended to be next / But you didn't need to take him to bed."
With that said, Ed Sheeran has released "Don't" as the official second single from his forthcoming sophomore album x, which is slated for release June 23rd. Therefore take a listen below to "Don't" and Enjoy!
