Luther Vandross suffered a stroke before the release of his last studio album Dance With My Father and during the album's promotional trail, American Idol finalist Tamyra Gray was asked to lend her voice to the title-track during a segment on The Today Show in support of Vandross' album.
With that said, while we closeout the celebrations in honor of Father's Day, I thought it would be appropriate to watch her sublime take on "Dance With My Father." While Tamyra Gray does not have a huge recording career is still unbeknownst to me, but as I ponder the reasons why, watch her amazing cover of "Dance With My Father" below!
