One thing about Whitney Houston was that if you gave her a microphone, she was bound to get on it and sing us all into bliss and while rumors of lipsynching have surrounded a lot of her peers for years, Nippy never/ rarely lipsynched (only of tech called for it aka Superbowl) and would always give you what her spirit had to offer.
With that said, back in 1998 at Bishop Dr. Fred Jerkins Jr.'s Evangelical Fellowship Church in Pleasantville, NJ, Whitney took to the stage one Sunday morning and offered up a riveting rendition of the standard "God Will Take Care of You."
