Chaka Khan was honored earlier this year at the world famous The Apollo Theater for her career milestone accomplishments that capstone this year through being in the business over 40 years! With that said, Mary J. Blige of course came and performed "Sweet Thing" in honor of Ms. Khan, but I wanted to take it back for a second listen to the original 1975 recording of Rufus featuring Chaka Khan.
