Award Nominations: 2016 GRAMMY Awards


The 2016 GRAMMY Award nominations were announced earlier today and Kendrick Lamar leads this year's nominees with eleven total nominations. The Grammys return to L.A.'s Staples Center on Feb. 15, 2016 on CBS at 8pm EST. No host has been announced yet but you can get into all the award nominations below from the major 4 categories (Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best New Artist) to the R&B and Rap categories respectively.

New Joint: "Goodnight Kisses" (Charlie Wilson)


Uncle Charlie aka Charlie Wilson is back again, currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming solo album and while the legendary crooner is finishing things up in the studio, he has returned yet again with a new join in the form of "Goodnight Kisses."

A solid mid-tempo from Charlie Wilson, "Goodnight Kisses" serves as the first official single from his upcoming album and he debuted it earlier this week on The Steve Harvey Morning Show and now if you like what you hear, you can cop the first single from Uncle Charlie.

Last year, Kanye West kicked off the new season of BBC’s Later… with Jools Holland with a solid performance of his latest single from Yeezus "Bound 2" with Charlie Wilson.

With that said, this past Friday, Later… with Jools Holland  aired the rest of  Kanye's powerful performances including his Uncle Charlie assisted rendition of "New Slaves" that evolved into another riveting rendition of his joint "Blood on the Leaves." Album Stream: "The Best Man Holiday"


The Best Man Holiday soundtrack's live stream when for a lack of a better word "live" yesterday thanks to RCA Records and the 13-song holiday focused compilation album features those holiday classics and some new potential classics from the likes of  R. Kelly, Jordin Sparks, Mary J. Blige, Mario, Fantasia, Monica, Ne-Yo, Marsha Ambrosius, Anthony Hamilton, John Legend, Emeli Sandé, and Charlie Wilson.

With that said, The Best Man Holiday is slated to hit theaters ahead of the holiday season on November 15th, but ahead of its release date, the official soundtrack for the film is set for release on October 29th. New Joint: "I Still Have You" (Charlie Wilson)


2013 seems to be the year for Charlie Wilson as Uncle Charlie is back again and this time he is bringing us a new joint "I Still Have You," which is lifted from the official soundtrack to The Best Man Holiday.

While "I Still Have You" was featured on his latest album Love, Charlie, it is also acting as the first single off the anticipated  soundtrack to The Best Man Holiday, which is due at the end of this month on October 29th. Kanye West and Charlie Wilson appeared on BBC Two's Later... with Jools Hollands earlier tonight to promote their single "Bound 2," which is the latest joint lifted from Kanye's solid album Yeezus.

Offering a dope performance that even brought the elusive Adele out to Twitter to comment on Kanye's performance, Kanye and Charlie Wilson offer up a dope performance of "Bound 2" and hopefully we will soon see an official visual for "Bound 2" as it is one of the numerous highlights on Yeezus.

Live Video of the Day: "Bound 2" ( Kanye West ft. Charlie Wilson)


Kanye West and Uncle Charlie Wilson took to NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon earlier tonight to perform Kanye's new single "Bound 2," which is lifted from his phenomenal LP Yeezus.  Offering the first ever televised performance of "Bound 2," Kanye and Charlie Wilson were joined by The Roots on this dope rendition of "Bound 2."

Uncle Charlie was of course in fine voice like the legend he is and Kanye spit his bars effortlessly on top of The Roots' live instrumentation. Watch it all go down after the jump and lookout for Kanye's solo tour when it kicks off this November in Seattle, Washington.

Uncle Charlie Wilson was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards earlier tonight and a part of his award was an all-star tribute from the likes of India.Arie, Jamie Foxx and Stevie Wonder, who all offered their takes on some of Charlie's classic hits in addition to Justin Timberlake, Pharrell and Snoop Dogg hitting the stage with Charlie as he performed after accepting his award.
