While the forthcoming announcements for next year's Grammy Awards are a few months away, I would be surprised if Ariana Grande does not receive at least a nomination for Best New Artist as she really has the potential to be the next powerhouse vocal diva in music.
Having already notched up her first #1 album with Yours Truly and two solid hits "Baby I" and "The Way," Ariana took to her personal YouTube page this past friday to offer up a #LullabyFriday rendition of India.Arie's "Private Party."
Originally lifted from India's #1 album Testimony: Vol 1, Life & Relationships from back in 2006, Ariana had already covered it briefly last year, but this time around, she offers up a long a cappella rendition that showcases off her songbird vocals.
