Amazing Cover: "Lego House" (StooShe)

I was jamming to Ed Sheeran's debut album + earlier today and was reminded of StooShe's brillant cover of Ed's "Lego House." Though I have not been following StooShe all that close these days, these three girls have a great vocal blend that works well for their cover of "Lego House."

Amazing Cover: "Ain’t No Sunshine" (Ed Sheeran)

Ed Sheeran stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night to perform an acoustic cover of  the Bill Withers iconic hit "Ain't No Sunshine." Sheeran offered up his performance last night ahead of his Carnegie Hall tribute performance tonight as a part of Lean On Him: A Tribute To Bill Withers.

Amazing Cover: "Drunk in Love" (Beyoncé & Ed Sheeran)

While this isn't a cover per say, Ed Sheeran is offering his acoustic take on Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love," which he famously performed over a year ago now with King B.

Lifted from Beyoncé's set during the Global Citizen Festival, Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran's pairing vocally works perfectly and has me wondering if either of these superstars will be record a duet with one another for either of their forthcoming albums.

Award Nominations: 2015 MTV Video Music Awards

The nominees have been announced for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards and Taylor Swift leads the pack with nine nominations followed by Ed Sheeran with six, Beyoncé and Mark Ronson with five apiece, and Kendrick with four.

For Video of the Year,  Beyoncé and Taylor Swift will face off against one another again this time with Swift's "Bad Blood," featuring Kendrick and Beyoncé’s "7/11. Joining these two pop divas are " Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud," Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" featuring Bruno Mars, and Kendrick's "Alright."

With that said, Miley Cyrus will host the  2015 MTV VMAs which will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug. 30, at 9 p.m. See a full list of nominees below.

New Video: "Thinking Out Loud" (Ed Sheeran)

A few days late, but Ed Sheeran released a new video for his latest single, "Thinking Out Loud," which is one of Ed's own personal favorites from his #1 album x and has been described by Taylor Swift as a "masterpiece" as well as making Sam Smith's "heart weep a little bit."

With that said, in the Emil Nava helmed clip, Ed puts the guitar down and takes it to the dance floor for some ballroom dancing and really has him stepping outside of his comfort zone. New Video: "Don't" (Ed Sheeran)

After topping the charts with his sophomore album x, Ed Sheeran is back with the set's second official single with the Rick Rubin and Benny Blanco-produced ballad "Don't," which was rumored to be written about Ed's former relationship with fellow UK singer Ellie Goulding.

With that said, Ed has now lifted the official video for his latest joint and he shares his rags-to-riches story through interpretive dance in the visual "Don't." Featuring dancer Phillip Chbeeb, who some might recall from "So You Think You Can Dance," Ed makes a cameo appearance, though you might miss him if you don't pay attention closely.

Amazing Cover: "Chasing Cars" (Ed Sheeran)

With the release of Ed Sheeran's sophomore album x today, I thought it might be nice to revisit one of my favorite covers from Ed. With that said, more than two years ago, Ed performed at an exclusive radio event in the UK for 250 of his fans and during his set, he offered up a sublime rendition of Snow Patrol's classic hit "Chasing Cars."

Interestingly enough, Ed was the opening act for Snow Patrol's then recent North American tour that past spring, though the famed crooner had to drop out early due to personal reasons.

New Joint: "Photograph" (Ed Sheeran)

Another day, another new joint from Ed Sheeran and I am not mad at him releasing almost every joint from his forthcoming sophomore album x, proving that he really did his thing on his anticipated LP.

Entitled "Photograph," this acoustic ballad is another great gem from Ed and I don't know about you, but after hearing almost all of the joints from Ed's forthcoming sophomore album x, which is slated for release on Monday, I am definitely purchasing a copy as he really brought it on this solid sophomore effort.

After releasing the Rick Ruben produced "Bloodstream" yesterday from his forthcoming album x, Ed has released another new joint, this time a guitar ballad "Thinking Out Loud."

With that said, x is slated for released next week, Tuesday, June 23rd and from what we've all heard so far, I think it's safe to say that Ed has another winner on his hands and will probably solidify his status here in the States.

New Joint: "Bloodstream" (Ed Sheeran)

Ed Sheeran's sophomore album x has been one of 2014's most anticipated releases and with less than a week to go until its release, Ed has released another new joint to continue building anticipation for its release.

Entitled "Bloodstream," it is a phenomenal mid-tempo from the UK singer/songwriter that is probably my favorite joint to hear from him during this new era in his career. Featuring an instrumental that is focused around the acoustic guitar, Ed's vocals take centerstage on "Bloodstream" and the mmmhhhhs of the chorus are immediately infectious.

New Joint: "Afire Love" (Ed Sheeran)

Another week, another new joint from Ed Sheeran. After releasing "Don't" last week, which is rumored to be about his former relationship with fellow UK singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding, Ed is back with a powerful midtempo, this time a dedication to his late grandfather, who passed away last year.

Entitled "Afire Love," the sound recounts Ed Sheeran's grandfather's twenty year battle with Alzheimer's and is another solid joint from Ed's forthcoming sophomore album x, due June 23rd. With that said, take a listen below to Ed Sheeran's new joint "Afire Love" below and Enjoy!

New Joint: "Don't" (Ed Sheeran)

Back in April, Ed Sheeran appeared on NBC's late-night variety show Saturday Night Live and during his time as musical guest, he performed his hit Pharrell-produced single "Sing" in addition to "Don," which was about a high-profile breakup.

Written about fellow UK singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding, who is rumored to have cheated on Ed during their relationship last year, "Don't" is a sobering tale about a relationship that goes from hot to cold rather quickly with lyrics such as "Now she's staying at my place and loves the way I treat her...) I never intended to be next / But you didn't need to take him to bed."

With that said, Ed Sheeran has released "Don't" as the official second single from his forthcoming sophomore album x, which is slated for release June 23rd. Therefore take a listen below to "Don't" and Enjoy!

2012/2013 seemed to off been some breakout yeasr for Ed Sheeran here in the States although he's been making some serious moves in the UK since 2011. With that said, Ed Sheeran covered Jessie J's "Who You Are" back in 2011 on BBC Radio 2 and offered his own acoustic take on the powerful ballad.

As we await new music from both Jessie J and Ed Sheeran, as Sheeran's sophomore album is slated for release in just a few weeks, I thought it would be appropriate to revisit this live audio cover that Ed offered of Jessie's "Who You Are" below.

Sam Smith's single "Stay With Me" has really been getting the A-list treatment as of late as the rising UK singer/songwriter recently partnered up with Mary J. Blige for a duet interpretation and now Ed Sheeran has covered it for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge obligatory cover.

Following the duet version with Mary J. Blige, Ed Sheeran gives Sam Smith’s soulful ballad the cover treatment for BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. The British crooner stayed true to the original with his stripped-down remake, but still made it his own.

With that said, Ed is currently making the promotional rounds for his forthcoming sophomore album x, which is slated for release June 23rd and features the Pharrell-produced hit single "Sing," in addition to production duties from the likes of Rick Ruben, Jeff Bhasker, and Benny Blanco.
