I was jamming to Ed Sheeran's debut album + earlier today and was reminded of StooShe's brillant cover of Ed's "Lego House." Though I have not been following StooShe all that close these days, these three girls have a great vocal blend that works well for their cover of "Lego House."

New Video: "Slip" (StooShe)

StooShe are one of the "new" UK acts that I really hope has a breakout year in 2013 as their debut album is finally slated for release on May 27th. With that said, their fourth single "Slip" has just received the official video treatment ahead of its official single release and the throwback 1950s look and sound with a modern twist is another winner in my book from an act that already has two top ten hits ahead of their debut album's release. The 2013 BRIT Award Nominations

The 2013 BRIT Award nominations were announced yesterday and Emeli Sandé along with Mumford & Sons and Alt-J were the big nominees with three BRIT Award nominations each. Emeli Sandé is truly the big nominee of the night having only a year ago been the recipient of the Critics Choice  which this year will go to Tom Odell. Stooshe recently covered TLC's iconic hit "Waterfalls" for the forthcoming release of their self-titled debuted album and now the official video for their remake has hit the net. While diehard fans of TLC might be opposed to this cover, I think Stooshe offers a solid interpretation with their own flavor  and even T-Boz and Chilli seem to approve with their cameo in the video. Group on the rise StooShe are really making an impact in the UK and I truly hope that they will be making a US move after the conquer their home country.
