Album in the Works: "X" (Ed Sheeran)
After releasing his Pharrell produced single "Sing." Ed Sheeran has unveiled the official album cover art and tracklisting for his sophomore album X.
Slated for release on June 23, X serves as Ed's official follow-up to his debut album, 2011's +. Featuring production from the likes of Rick Rubin, Jeff Bhasker, Benny Blanco, Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid, and Jake Gosling, the twelve joint were revealed via his Instagram.
When speaking about his forthcoming album to Rolling Stones, Ed further opened up stating "I wanted raw, honest songs from the heart...When you hear that Kesha-Pitbull song, you know it's a hit, but it doesn’t make you want to cry or laugh or sit in a corner for five hours just repeating it."
With that said, X will be available for pre-order on iTunes starting Friday and you can peep the official tracklisting below.
