Earlier this week, BET aired Celebration of Gospel 2014: Forward In Faith and the highlight of the night for me had to be Lalah Hathaway and Zacardi Cortez's performances on the Celebration of Gospel stage where the two let their anointed vocals take centerstage.
Lalah's velvety smooth vocals kicked off their performance with a powerhouse rendition of "Every Promise," before Zacardi Cortez joined her to finish "Every Promise" and move into his own hit "1 on 1." Lalah then ended their performance with her trademark vocal splitting harmony that helped earn her her first Grammy Award earlier this year.
