In a new interview with V Magazine, R. Kelly announced that he is already getting ready to release the followup to his 2013 album Black Panties in the form of White Panties, both of course being extensions and sequels to his iconic 12 Play album.
When speaking about his upcoming album, R. Kelly told V Magazine that "[i]t's called White Panties. And you can expect a whole other level."
In addition to a new album for 2014, Kellz is also planning to hit the road with Mary J. Blige on their upcoming King & Queen tour and there are faint rumors of a potential joint album entitled King & Queen to follow the tour.
"I'm in the studio right now working on a song for me and Mary...I'm even looking forward to proposing that we do a whole album together. But this is the first I've mentioned it. The King & Queen album."
With all of this new music talk, 2014 seems to be the year of R. Kelly after he returned in 2013 with Black Panties as just an appetizer to what is to come in 2014.
