Second Listen: "You Are My Lady" (Freddie Jackson)
Back in 1985 after the success of his first single "Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times Sake)," Freddie Jackson released his second single "You Are My Lady," from his debut album Rock Me Tonight.
Like his debut single, "You Are My Lady" peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart, and would become Freddie's most successful song on the Hot 100 peaking just outside the top ten at #12.
With that said, the song would go onto garner Jackson a 1986 Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male. Therefore, take a second listen below to Freddie Jackson's classic "You Are My Lady" and Enjoy!
