Chrisette Michele recently sat down with Radio.com for an interview at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles to promote the upcoming season of TV One's R&B Divas: L.A. and during her interview she opened up about performing for Patti LaBelle during Essence Music Festival and taking diva tips from Ms. Patti, how she originally listened to Alternative Rock, which artists she'd like to collaborate with and how she is about breaking cultural norms.
In addition to opening up about her musical teachings, Chrisette opened up about her Rich Hipster project, what she's working on next in terms of her new album The Lyricist Opus, why it's taken her so long to put this project together, as well as opening up a bit about being involved with R&B Divas: L.A.
