Amazing Cover: "Take Care" (Rebecca Ferguson)

As Rebecca Ferguson continues to perform her take of the Drake and Rihanna collabo "Take Care," the more and more I think that she needs to record a cover of this for her forthcoming release of her debut album in the US. Ferguson really takes "Take Care" to another level and in my opinion offers a better rendition then the original. Watch her nail it below and Enjoy!

Mashup: "Killing Me Softly"/ "I Need A Doctor" (Angel)

I was first introduced to artist on the rise Angel a few months ago when he  put together a rather phenomenal mashup of The Fugee's take on the Roberta Flack classic "Killing Me Softly" with Dr. Dre's Eminem and Skylar Grey assisted "I Need A Doctor." Recorded in a barbershop with just an acoustic guitar and Angel's vocals, this mashup is a great introduction to the budding singer/songwriter who's been making a name for himself in the UK.  Peep his great mashup below and Enjoy!

Second Listen: "For Lovers Only" (Maxwell)

Back in 2001, Maxwell dropped "Now," which featured several smash cuts for the crooner. While the singles were tight from "Now," "For Lovers Only," is one of those cuts from Maxwell that you wished he would've released as a single, but at the same time glad he didn't because the rest of the world isn't privy to it's glory. With that said, take a listen or a second listen to "For Lovers Only," below and let the mellow instrumentation take you there.

Amazing Cover: "I Believe in You and Me" (Ahmed Sirour)

Whitney Houston's cover of The Four Tops' "I Believe in You and Me" became one of the many standards in the late songstress' repertoire and while we continue to mourn the loss of Houston, music is one of the ways to help us heal. With that said, Ahmed Sirour has recently put together a poignent and highly somber acoustic piano tribute cover of "I Believe in You and Me," which will certainly bring a tear to one's eye. I posted it before, and I post it again as I just can't stop listening to his powerful rendition. I really hope that maybe he can do another Houston cover as he adds such depth to her already emotional discography. Listen below as we continue to honor the legacy and mourn the loss of Ms. Whitney Houston.
