Second Listen: "I Don't Care" (Elle Varner)
While Elle Varner is putting the finishing touches on her highly anticipated sophomore release, I thought it would be appropriate to revisit one of the gems from her debut LP Perfectly Imperfect, which has come back into rotation for me on my midnight mix.
Released as the third official single from Elle Varner's debut album Perfectly Imperfect, "I Don't Care" was produced by famed production duo Oak & Pop and was co-written by Varner with Oak & Pop. With that said, "I Don't Care" also features a perfectly placed sample of Kool & the Gang's "Little Children" that helps give "I Don't Care" that timeless feel. Take a second listen to "I Don't Care" after the jump and Enjoy!

Cut: "Not Tonight" (Elle Varner)
Elle Varner's debut album Perfectly Imperfect was a great introduction to a rising talent in the industry and while she's made a name for herself off of singles like "Refill' and "Only Wanna Give It To You," her album offers several cuts including the smooth slow jam "Not Tonight."
While she is gearing up to release her sophomore album Four Letter Word later this year, I thought it would be good to take a listen below to "Not Tonight" and get better acquainted to it and Elle below.

New Joint: "The End Of The Beginning" (Elle Varner)
While word on when Elle Varner's highly anticipated sophomore album have been hush as of late, Elle Varner is back with a new joint of sorts with her freestyle joint "The End Of The Beginning."
Featuring some solid bars if you ask me, "The End Of The Beginning" has me wondering is she will show off her rhymes on her upcoming LP because it's clear that Elle isn't just a solid songstress, but is also a dope rapper.
Take a listen below to "The End Of The Beginning" and stay tune for more new music news from Elle.

New Video: "Cold Case" (Elle Varner)
Yesterday, Elle Varner released the official video to fan favorite "Cold Case" which she released back in March. An anti-love song ballad, "Cold Case" finds Elle doing what she does best, crooning it out with an equally pleasing visual.
While Elle doesn't appear in the official video for "Cold Case," the crumbling of this couple's relationship in the video fits perfectly with the vibe and lyrics of the record. Lifted from her forthcoming sophomore album 4 Letter Words, 2015 seems to be the year we finally get to hear her highly anticipated project.

New Joint: "See Me Tonight" (Elle Varner)
Elle Varner is back again and this time she is armed with the second installment in her four-letter word series following "Cold Case" with "See Me Tonight."
While it is unclear if "Cold Case" and "See Me Tonight" are going to be featured on Elle's forthcoming sophomore album 4 letter Word, which was executively produced by Pop & Oak, I really hope the later makes the cut as I've been playing it on repeat for the last hour and can't wait to give Elle my hard earned coin for it.
Featuring an infectious mid-tempo beat that builds off of a great horns section, Elle's raspy throwback vocals fit perfectly with this engineered instrumentation and I am sure you'll be rocking with it like I have been after taking your first listen to it below!
