While it has been almost five years since their riveting performance, this quartet's powerful rendition of "Four Women" still seems as if they gathered on that stage just a few days ago in my mind.

Back in 1998, Kelly Price released her debut LP Soul of a Woman and a remix of her song "Friend of Mine," became the biggest hit from the album and of Kelly's career thus far.

Featuring R. Kelly and Ronald Isley, in the remix, Isley takes on the fictional role of the singer-protagonist's Godfather ("Mr. Biggs"), taking her husband (R. Kelly) to task for cheating on her with her best friend.

Back in 2000, Kelly Price would go onto release what would become her signature song, "As We Lay" that still has people raising a hand to her vocal testimony.

Lifted from Kelly's sophomore album Mirror Mirror, "As We Lay" was originally a classic by Shirley Murdock, but Kelly took the song and turned it out so much that some fans to this day still think it is a Kelly Price original.

A Cappella: "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" (Kelly Price)

One of the most slept on singers in the frame right now in my opinion is Ms. Kelly Price. While we have seen spurts of her in the "lime light," her talents alone warrant much more attention than she has received in recent years.

With that said, one of my favorite performances of Kelly Price's has to be her phenomenal a cappella rendition of the gospel hymn "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" and you can take a listen to it below.

Back in 2011 when Kelly Price was promoting her then newly released album Kelly, the Grammy-nominated and she linked up within Singersroom for their series "Acoustic Conversation" to get up-close-and-personal with some of her fans while performing her hits and taking questions from the audience.

I was trolling YouTube late last night today and stumbled upon/rediscovered this rare performance of Kelly Price and Shirley Murdock sharing the stage together on Shirley's original "As We Lay."

Kelly offered up a sublime cover of this classic tale on her sophomore LP and during Essence Music Festival 2011 Kelly and Shirley offered up a rare live collaboration in the Ford Superlounge.

With that said, catch these two legendary singers exchange verses after the jump with their powerhouse voices and Enjoy!

New Joint: "Back 2 Love" (Kelly Price ft. Ruben Studdard)

What happens when you team up two of R&B's best voices on a new duet? Well Kelly Price and Ruben Studdard have an answer to that with their smooth new mid-tempo "Back 2 Love," which follows Kelly's thumping "It's My Time," as the second official single lifted from her forthcoming album, Sing, Pray, Love Vol. 1: Sing, due June 3rd.

Featuring the catchy and infectious chorus "Gotta get back to love / Gotta get back to trust,"  Ruben croons out this simple hook while he and Kelly both riff on top of it, making for an enjoyable mid-tempo banger that I am sure will be heating up Adult R&B Radio ASAP.
