Previews: "Verses & Flow" Season 3

I had the pleasure of attending a few of the recordings for TV One's Verses & Flow and while some of the poetry I heard was hit or miss (it's subjective, so you be the judge), most of the musical guests were spot on killing it.

With that said, an official preview for the upcoming third season of Verses & Flow has hit the net and features a preview that includes Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, Avant and Bell Biv DeVoe among others. Album in the Works: "Face The Music" (Avant)

Avant has been hard at work on his forthcoming seventh studio album Face The Music and his upcoming EMI/Capital set already boasts his top 10 Adult R&B duet hit single with Keke Wyatt on "You & I." With that said, the famed crooner recently opened up a bit further on his forthcoming project mentioning that  "[i]t's a taste of new school and old school...You might hear a piece of, say, Stevie Wonder or Babyface, then I spin right back around and offer up some new age R&B. It's a well-rounded album with something for everyone. At the end of the day, Face the Music is about who we are and what we live by; it's about respecting that as well as the music." Putting Face The Music into a better perspective, I would welcome you to revisit the set's lead single while we await the release of Avant's upcoming LP!

While Avant and Keke Wyatt debuted their duet "You & I" a few months ago, the official video for their smooth duet has finally hit the net. Behind the Scenes: "You and I" Video Shoot (Avant & Keke Wyatt)

Avant and Keke Wyatt recently released their duet "You & I" and now the R&B duo are putting the finishing touches on their official video for their smooth joint. Lifted as the first single from Avant's forthcoming album "Face The Music," due out on February 5, 2013, the duo have just released an official behind the scenes look at them filming the official video and you can watch it all go down below!

Avant seems to be hard at work on a forthcoming project as a new joint entitled "Happy To See You" has just hit the net. While there's been no official word on a forthcoming project from Avant, "Happy To See You" is a sublime smooth joint from the crooner and you can listen to it below!
