Back in 2008, Algebra Blessett released her debut album Purpose and while the set boasted my favorite joint "What Happened?," this was not the first time it was heard by the masses.

It's been a minute since we've heard a new solo Algebra Blessett record, but the famed singer/songwriter is back with the lead single from her highly anticipated sophomore LP Recovery. Lifted in the form of "Nobody But You," this smooth slow/mid-tempo from Algebra is just what the doctor ordered on this Tuesday and it follows-up her solid feature work on Anthony David's "4evermore" and Esperanza Spalding "Black Gold." Featuring a father teaching his two kids about African history after their school only spent a day on the subject, Esperanza and Algebra weave their uplifting and powerful song through the narrative of the video.
