Live Clip: "O Holy Night" (Amber Riley)
Three years ago, Amber Riley took to Not Another Open Mic Night in Los Angeles to help ring in the holiday cheer, and during her time at the event, Amber offered up a rousing rendition of the holiday classic "O Holy Night."
Amber of course shuts it down and continually proves why so many consider her to be the best voice to of graced our ears during her time on Glee. With that said, watch her sublime performance of "O Holy Night" below as we prepare to celebrate Christmas Eve!

Amazing Cover: "Try A Little Tenderness" (Amber Riley)
With the series finale of FOX's Glee slated for tonight, I thought it would be appropriate to revisit one of Amber Riley's amazing covers from her time on FOX's Glee, where she was sadly underutilized.
I haven't heard an Amber Riley cover I haven't liked and if nothing, her time on Glee proved that Amber is definitely one of the most gifted vocalists currently in the industry and hopefully we will hear some original music from Ms. Riley before the end of 2014.
Amber's voice is so soulful and powerful that she garners attention whenever she covers a record. With that said, below you will find Amber's amazing cover of the Otis Redding classic "Try A Little Tenderness." Though several artists have remade this song in the past few years, Amber's is my favorite by far. Her gospel soaked pipes fit perfectly for the song.
Listen below and Enjoy!

Amazing Cover: "I Want To Know What Love Is" (Amber Riley)
While I have lost touch with FOX's hit singing show Glee, a few of my friends still follow the show and they always let me know when my favorite powerhouse vocalist, Ms. Amber Riley makes a guest starring return on the show.
With that said, Amber Riley seems to be recurring on Glee a lot more this season as another cover from her has hit the net in the form of her sublime rendition of the Foreigners's classic "I Want To Know What Love Is."
Therefore, take a listen below to her cover of "I Want To Know What Love Is" and Enjoy!

Amazing Cover: "You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" (Amber Riley)
This past Tuesday, Glee aired their latest episode and fan favorite and my personal fave Amber Riley returned to the show, though to be honest, I've stopped following the show when Amber left the cast.
With that said, during her appearance on the show, Amber Riley performed the iconic Carole King original "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," which was made famous by the Queen of Soul, Ms. Aretha Franklin.
Therefore, watch Amber's powerhouse performance of "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" and if you like what you hear, go and support Amber by purchasing your copy of it via your preferred digital retailer.

A Cappella: "How Will I Know" (Amber Riley & Lea Michele)
Was talking to a friend about the numerous Whitney Houston covers that people have done over the past few years and I was reminded of Glee's Amber Riley and Lea Michele's sublime a cappella rendition of "How Will I Know."
While I've been waiting on some new and original music from Amber Riley that's outside of the Glee sphere, this a cappella rendition of "How Will I Know" helmed by her and Lea Michele more than makes up for that currently.
Listen to the duo's slowed arrangement of the Whitney Houston classic "How Will I Know" below and Enjoy!

New Joint: "Casino" (Amber Riley ft. Gene Noble)
Yesterday, Amber Riley released a new joint to honor Valentine's Day for her fans in the form of the B.A.M produced joint "Casino." While it is unclear if "Casino" will appear on Amber's highly anticipated debut album, it is a solid mid-tempo joint in my book.
Written by Amber Riley and Gene Noble, their duet is reminiscent for me of the sonic vibes of some of Lauryn Hill's early solo work. Either way you might feel, I am glad we have some new original solo music from Amber Riley and I can't wait to hear what she's been cooking for us in the studio.
With that said, take a listen below to Amber Riley's new joint "Casino," which features Gene Noble below and Enjoy!

Live Video of the Day: "I Am Woman" (Amber Riley)
Last night during BET's telecast of Black Girls Rock, Amber Riley offered up a phenomenal performance of the cut "I Am Woman"during the empowering telecast. While I am a bit unfamiliar with the Helen Reddy 1972 original, Amber offered a fresh take of this female anthem.
Utilizing her powerhouse voice, Amber breezed through "I Am Woman" in a manner that would've made you think it was her own joint if it wasn't for the old-school arrangement of the joint. With that said, watch her powerhouse performance of "I Am Woman" below and lookout for Amber as she is currently dominating the dance floor on ABC's Dancing With the Stars!

Amazing Cover: "Try A Little Tenderness" (Amber Riley)
**Reposting this because I can hahaha and this cover from Amber Riley truly never gets old in my book. I want to see her do this live ASAP**
Since Amber Riley is currently rocking it on ABC's Dancing With The Stars, I thought it would be appropriate to revisit one of her amazing covers from her time on FOX's Glee, where she was sadly underutilized.

Amazing Cover: "I'll Stand By You" (Amber Riley)
** Reposting/revisiting this phenomenal cover from Amber Riley after viewing her performance of this clip during this past Glee episode "The Quarterback."**
While I stopped watching FOX's hit show Glee a few seasons ago when it became evident that Amber Riley's character Mercedes was never going to receive the attention she deserved, I still keep up with the music that is released from the show via Amber Riley as she is the best singer from the show in my book.
With that said, during the latest Glee episode "The Quarterback" Amber was back and of course she offers up a riveting cover. Opting to perform The Pretenders' 1994 classic hit "I'll Stand By You," Amber's powerhouse vocals take this classic 90s hit to another level and will hopefully introduce it to a new generation roughly two decades after its release. Take a listen below to Amber's sublime rendition of "I'll Stand By You" and Enjoy!

Amazing Cover: "Hero" (Amber Riley)
During the inaugural ball last night, Amber Riley performed a riveting cover of the Mariah Carey classic and standard "Hero." While Amber Riley has performed this cover before, it never gets old in my book and her soulful vocals really add a different depth and flavor to the Carey original. Glee's Naya Rivera, Amber Riley and Darren Criss took part in the Kids Inaugural Concert last night in Washington DC and Naya and Amber opted to perform some stunning covers that they had already performed on Glee.
