Earlier tonight, Erykah Badu took to Fader Fort at SXSW to perform a solid set of just a few gems from her vast discography. Kicking her set off with a brief performance of "On & On," E.Badu quickly moves into "The Healer" and then into Worldwide Underground's "Danger."
In addition, Erykah performed a segment of my favorite joint "Out My Mind, Just In Time," which is lifted from her most recent LP 2010's New Amerykah, Pt. 2: Return of the Ankh and then moved into her Brown Sugar single "Love Of My Life."
Opting to close out with her Mama's Gun classic "Didn't Cha Know" with a mix of The Wiz's "If You Believe," Erykah Badu really has me craving to hear some new material, even though let's be honest, she could tour for the rest of her life on her current discography.
