It's my birthday here on the West Coast but Ledisi's on the East Coast so I thought it would be appropriate to revisit one of my all time favorite performances that is often played during this day.
With that said, Ledisi's rendition of the jazz standard "My Funny Valentine" from "Soul of Rogers" a few years back is the perfect gem from her live collection vault to help honor Valentine's Day as her vocals on this icon joint are aw inspiring each and every time I revisit it.
