Something about my spirit today guided me to Fantasia and I listened to her entire discography earlier in the day and of course her poignant single "Lose to Win" from her Grammy-nominated fourth LP Side Effects Of You is still stuck in my head from listening earlier today.
Sampling The Commodores' "Nightshift," "Lose to Win" peaked at #38 on the Billboard US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #102 on the Billboard Hot 100. Featuring a powerful and heartfelt message, "Lose to Win" would go onto help Fantasia secure her second #1 album on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.
