While Emeli Sandé is busy recording and working on her sophomore album, which is rumored to be set for release later this year, I am still revisiting her sublime debut album Our Version of Events, which was primarily produced by Naughty Boy.
With that said during last night's airing of Being Mary Jane, one of the songs that the musical supervisor for the show selected was Emeli's smooth acoustic joint "Breaking The Law.
Co-written by Emeli Sandé, Shahid Khan and Ben Harrison, "Breaking The Law" was written by Emeli for her sister and while it was used in a different context for the show last night, this cut really should've become a single in my book.
