Last night Beyoncé released her self-titled fifth studio album BEYONCÉ and I have to say, she just shut the industry down for at least the day, if not the next week. Selling over 80,000 digital units just through iTunes in its first three hours, when the majority of the east coast was asleep, BEYONCÉ is slated to sell over 200,000 units exclusively through iTunes within the next three days of Billboard's soundscan week.
With that said, one of the numerous standouts on her LP for me is her Frank Ocean assisted joint "Superpower" and the accompanying video features appearances by the likes of Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Pharrell and Luke James.
