As I eagerly await Jennifer Hudson's three-episode guest arch on NBC's "Smash," I have revisited her sophomore LP 2011's I Remember Me and rediscovered the gem that is "Still Here." Written by Diane Warren, the poignant ballad is Hudson's ode to her late family members and is a touching tribute to anyone someone might've lost along the way. As we continue to bring in a New Year, it is also appropriate to remember those we have lost in our lives and how they have impacted us for the better.
