Back in 2011, Erykah Badu's interpretation of Muddy Waters' classic "Mannish Boy" was featured in an H&M TV advertisement. Originally recorded by Waters in 1995, it is both an arrangement of and an "answer song" to Bo Diddley's "I'm a Man," which was in turn inspired by Waters' and Willie Dixon's "Hoochie Coochie Man." With that said, Badu puts her own spin on this blues classic, while staying true to the original arrangement. Take a listen below to Badu's cover of "Mannish Boy" below and Enjoy!
