Back in 1967 Lou Rawls released the soulful "Dead End Street," which would go on to peak at #29 on the
Billboard Hot 100. Though most people have either forgotten about this gem or never heard about it before, it would later go onto win Rawls his first
Grammy in 1968 for Best R&B Male Vocal Performance.
