One of my favorite slept on joints and artists of the last decade has to be Ricky Fante and his soulful joint "It Ain't Easy (On Your Own)." Lifted as the first single from his debut album "Rewind," "It Ain't Easy (On Your Own), is one of my favorite joints from 2004 and Fante performed an acoustic unplugged version below for Vh1 back during that time.
