Amazing Cover: "Run To You" (Heather Headley)

Whitney Houston's "The Bodyguard" era was the finest singing I have ever had the chance to witness and I can wholeheartedly say that we will never see another vocal era like that. Houston like Ms. Aretha Franklin in their primes could not be touch by their contemporaries and it show a bit whenever someone covers one of their classics. With that in mind, Heather Headley recently put forth a solid cover of "Run To You" which is up there in covers (Christina Aguilera, Smokie Norful...) in my book but of course comes up short to Whitney's original. While any artist who attempts a song that Houston performed during her prime will admit that they cannot touch the original, this audio clip of Headley performing "Run To You," which is lifted form her forthcoming album and West End musical production of "The Bodyguard" shows off Headley's powerful pipes that often go unnoticed. Therefore take a listen below to this teaser audio clip of Headley belting out "Run To You" and Enjoy!
