One of my friends recently put me up Durand Bernarr's "8ight: The Stepson of Erykah Badu" after witnessing him in concert in DC recently. While I was not aware of Durand Bernarr, this collection of sublime songs garnered him a much sought after background vocalist position with Badu's band and has brought him critical acclaim.
