Artist News: Ed Sheeran to play the Olympic Closing Ceremony with Pink Floyd
UK singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran revealed to Nova radio that he is slated to perform at the closing cermony of this year's Olympics with none other than Pink Floyd. Ed revealed the news to 106.8's Brisbane based breakfast show Ash, Kip & Luttsy and stated that he'll be performing the group's "Wish You Were Here" along with some of the original members of the iconic group. While the Spice Girls are also rumored to help close out the London 2012 games, I just hold out hope that Adele might make a rare appearance and perform on the world's biggest stage.
