Amazing Cover: "The Climb" (Guy Sebastian)

Guy Sebastian's rendition of Miley Cyrus's famed ballad "The Climb" is hands down the best cover and might even be the best version in my opinion. With that said, it's disheartening that this mega-talented Australian has yet to truly break into the US market.

For those who aren't familiar with Guy Sebastian, he is a former winner of Australian Idol (2003) and has taken over the Australian charts since his win.

Though he released his fifth studio album Like It Like That in the States back in 2010, the release didn't garner a lot of press or apparent label support to help build Sebastian a sustainable US fanbase. His recent collaboration with Lupe back in "Battle Scars" became a moderate hit, though Guy still hasn't achieved true crossover success.

Either way you feel, peep his sublime take on  Cyrus' "The Climb" below and Enjoy!

Amazing Cover: "Wrecking Ball" (Dixie Chicks)

When did the Dixie Chicks get back together? I repeat when did the Dixie Chicks get back together? While I am clearly several months late as the Grammy-winning trio kicked off a "reunion" tour of sorts at the end of 2013 in Canada with the Long Time Gone Tour and just recently finished it up in Europe, it's nice to known they are back.

With that said, during their recent performance at The O2 Arena in London for C2C: Country to Country, the Dixie Chicks covered Miley Cyrus' #1 hit "Wrecking Ball" and easily transformed the pop power ballad into a a country/pop ballad.

While it remains unclear if the Dixie Chicks are reunited and working on new music, or if they are just doing some spot dates during Long Time Gone Tour, I hope the come to the States for a few dates later this spring or summer.

Either way it turns up, watch the Dixie Chicks performance of "Wrecking Ball" below and Enjoy!

Amazing Cover: "Wrecking Ball" (James Arthur)

To celebrate the release of James Arthur's self-titled debut album James Arthur today in the UK, I thought it would be appropriate to peep his sublime rendition of Miley Cyrus' #1 hit single "Wrecking Ball."

Performed back in September at Radio Hamburg's Live-Lounge, James proves why he was the almost unanimous winner of the X-Factor UK back in 2012. Soaked with his soulful pipes and a simple accompaniment of a pianist, James let his vocals take center stage on his solid cover of Miley's "Wrecking Ball."

With that said, watch James Arthur's cover of Miley's "Wrecking Ball" below and if you haven't gotten his self-titled debut album James Arthur, it's worth checking out.

Set: "SNL Performances" (Miley Cyrus)

Say what you will about Miley Cyrus, I even criticize her at times, but there is no denying her vocal talents at the end of the day. While I agree with a lot of people who have voiced concern over her spectacle taking over her artistic work and her pure talent, that a lot of her peers lack, I am glad that Miley used SNL to showcase her vocal prowess.

During last night's show, Miley opted to perform her #1 hit single "Wrecking Ball" in addition to an acoustic version of Bangerz's lead single "We Can't Stop." Both offer solid vocal showings from Miley and I really think she shines when she strips it down to just her and a few guitars. Either way, watch her two performances from last night's SNL below and Enjoy!

Amazing Cover: "The Climb" (Guy Sebastian)

I am rather flabbergasted that Guy Sebastian has yet to make an impact in the US. For those who aren't familiar with Guy Sebastian, he is a former winner of Australian Idol (2003) and has taken over the Australian charts since his win. Though he released fifth studio album "Like It Like That" in the States back in 2010, the release didn't garner a lot of press or apparent label support to help build Sebastian a sustainable US fanbase. With that said, Guy took to youtube a while back to drop a cover of the Miley Cyrus ballad "The Climb" and I must say its a rather sublime cover. Peep it go down below and Enjoy!

Amazing Cover: "Party In The USA" (Jessie J)

Jessie J originally penned Miley Cyrus' hit single "Party In The USA," for herself, but later sold it to the pop singer. With that said, during her iheartradio set, Jessie covered the song that helped get her to where she is today. Check out her cover of the pop hit bellow and Enjoy!
