Podcast: "I Don't" (The BackBeat)

Written by Evans herself and produced by Diddy and Chucky Thompson, "You Used to Love Me" would go onto peak at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #4 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

Amazing Cover: "Be Free" (Faith Evans)


During BET's telecast of Black Girls Rock! 2015 and one of the highlight performance of the night came from the First Lady of R&B, Ms. Faith Evans who performed a riveting cover of J. Cole's "Be Free."

Lifted from J. Cole's latest album as a tribute to Ferguson, Faith's take of "Be Free" transformed the already powerful song from Cole into another heart wrenching testament. Watch Faith's performance below and soak in the message!

Yesterday, Faith Evans and KeKe Wyatt premiered the official music video for their recent collaboration "Make Love," which is lifted from Faith's recently released LP Incomparable.

New Video: "Fragile" (Faith Evans)


With the release of her eighth album Incomparable, Faith Evans released a Scandal themed video for her new joint "Fragile," which features a familiar sample from The Mamas & the Papas' classic "California Dreamin'."

Directed by Derek Blanks, Faith portrays the First Lady of the United States while Pooch Hall co-stars as the President and her unfaithful husband. Yesterday Faith Evans released the official followup to her Missy Elliott and Sharaya J single "I Deserve It" with her new joint "Good Time," which is also lifted from her forthcoming sixth album Incomparable.

Featuring Problem who helps continue the party vibe from Faith's lead single "I Deserve It," the new single and video for Faith's "Good Time" features Faith in the club once again riding the beat like she always does with her soulful vocals.

Mashup: "Love Wicki Like This" (Ahmed Sirour)


Back in 2012, Ahmed Sirour released another banger in the form of his mashup of Faith Evan's 1998 hit single "Love Like This" and The Fatback Band's 1974 joint "Wicki Wacky."

Ahmed is one talented cat and how he puts together these remixes, mashups, and covers is unbeknownst to me, but my ears have certainly been reaping the benefits! With that said, this sublime mashup was available for a free download, and luckily I got mine while supplies lasted of this phenomenal mashup of The Fatback Band and Faith Evans.

The First Lady, Ms. Faith Evans is back with a summer banger thanks to her new joint "I Deserve It," which teams Faith with Missy Elliott and her protégée Sharaya J.

The horn-driven, piano instrumental beat gives a throwback vibe with Faith crooning all over the track with the smooth verses from Missy and Sharaya J.

Live Video of the Day: "Heartbreak Hotel" (Whitney Houston ft. Faith Evans & Kelly Price)


During the 1998 at the the 9th Billboard Music, Whitney Houston appeared on the telecast to promote her album My Love Is Your Love as well as the set's second single, "Heartbreak Hotel," which had just recently hit airwaves before the trio's performance.

Featuring Kelly Price and Faith Evans on Whitney's Soulshock & Karlin produced hit single, which eventually went onto peak at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a very impressive #4 on the Year End Billboard Hot 100 chart is still a classic in my book and you can watch the trio's performance of it below!

Live Clip: "I'll Be Missing You" (Faith Evans ft. Diddy)


Earlier this week Faith Evans had a show at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip here in Los Angeles during Grammy week and with Grammy week comes a lot of musical celebrities in town.

With that said, Diddy was in town to help celebrate music's biggest night and came on stage to help Faith out with her rendition of their collaboration "I'll Be Missing You," which netted the duo a Grammy in 1998 for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
