Back in 2014, CJ Hilton released his own cover of the Marvin Gaye classic "Distant Lover" to honor the passing of the late, great vocalist. While it was released last year, I thought it would be nice to revisit this cover while we await to hear what CJ is working on next.

Mixtape: "Sextape: The Mixtape" (CJ Hilton)

CJ Hilton is back and the rising singer/songwriter has followed up his new joint "I Luv It" from back in November 2013 with a new mixtape to kick off the new year.

Entitled 'Sextape: The Mixtape," the eleven joint set features one collaboration with Mario on the seductive joint "Come" and clearly 'Sextape' was dropped just in time for you to start the romancing ahead of Valentine's Day.

New Joint: "I Luv It" (CJ Hilton)

It's been a minute since we've heard from CJ Hilton and even though he was just recently featured on Salaam Remi's One in the Chamber, he hasn't really had a solo joint out for a minute.

While he first came across my radar with his joint "Cold Summer," that sounded awfully familiar to some of Miguel's music around the time, "I Luv It" is a fresh new sound from the rising singer/songwriter and was written and produced by him for a forthcoming currently untitled mixtape.

With that said, take a listen below to CJ's new joint "I Luv It" and as always, I'll keep you posted on any forthcoming released from the rising crooner.

The man behind a lot of your favorite joints Salaam Remi is taking a step out in front of the limelight for a moment with a new compilation album entitled One: In The Chamber, which hit iTunes earlier today.

Featuring new music from the Grammy-nominated producer that includes the likes of Akon, Ne-Yo, Corinne Bailey Rae, Estelle, Stephen Marley, Jordin Sparks, Liam Bailey, Lemar and CJ Hilton, his album is just what I needed as we move into October. Offering brilliant production and solid vocals from his featured guest vocalists, Remi's intstrumental tracks that were included on the album are also solid bangers.

New Video: "Cold Summer" (CJ Hilton)

Artist on the rise CJ Hilton has just recently released the official video to his debut single "Cold Summer." Produced by Saalam Remi, the joint sounds almost like a duplicate to Miguel and J. Cole's "All I Want Is You," which Remi also produced. While sonically the joints are different visually the videos offer a contrasting style and I am looking forward to seeing what Hilton has cooking for his debut album. Artist on the rise CJ Hilton is back with a new joint entitled "Cold Summer." Produced by Salaam Remi, the song has a sonic familiarity to Miguel's "All I Want Is You," which Remi also produced. While sonically the joints are similar, Hilton's joint has a younger vibe to that of Miguel's in my opinion. However you feel about the comparison, Hilton's joint deserves a solid listen or two. J Records recording artist CJ Hilton has just released the official visual for his single "So Fresh." The visual is pretty standard but it's nice to see Hilton getting support from J Records.

J Records recording artist CJ Hilton has been hard at work on his debut album since 2010 and it seems as if the first single from his long awaited album will be "So Fresh." The Salaam Remi produced cut that features a verse from Nas is a smooth joint from the singer/songwriter and is definitely worth a listen.... Enjoy!
