Last night, I referenced this gem from Vivian Green's discography to a close friend while we talked about letting people go from your life. Lifted as the first official single from Vivian Green's sophomore album Vivian, "Gotta Go Gotta Leave (Tired)," peaked at #24 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
The single became Vivian Green's second top 40 hit on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and her second #1 hit on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart; "Emotional Rollercoaster" was her first single to do both in early 2003.
Written by Green and Junius Bervine, "Gotta Go, Gotta Leave (Tired)" still goes in my book and you can take a second listen to it below!
