Yesterday was Janet Jackson's forty-eighth birthday and I don't know about you, but I am still celebrating and honoring the legendary Janet Jackson throughout my entire weekend.
Back in 1994, famed guitarist Norman Brown released his critically acclaimed sophomore album After The Storm on Motown and one of the standout gems from this collection was his cover of Janet Jackson's mega-hit "That's the Way Love Goes."
Still a classic that's on rotation on most smooth jazz stations and a few Quiet Storm mixes, Brown's cover of "That's the Way Love Goes" still "goes" in my book as if it was released just a few weeks ago. With that said, take a listen to his guitar-leading instrumental of "That's the Way Love Goes" and Enjoy!
