As we celebrate Clive Davis' birthday today, I thought it would be appropriate to revisit some of Whitney's greatest performance in my opinion.
Though Leon Russell originated the song and Donny Hathaway in my book has the definitive version of "A Song For You," it's Whitney Houston's live cover of the song that really gets at the core of the song for me.
Lifted from her HBO Welcome Home Heroes special back in 1991, Houston lets into the song like no one else can and shows off why in her prime she was known as simply The Voice. Watch her phenomenal performance below and Enjoy!
