Back in 2010 when John Legend and The Roots were promoting their collaborative album "Wake Up!
," they decided to record a live EP of several tunes from their album. With that said, Legend and The Roots performed "Shine," which was a song Legend wrote after being inspired by seeing the film 
"Waiting for "Superman"
